Scott Dunbar, DBA, is a Professor and Director of Online Education with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning higher education, healthcare, information technology, finance, and business operations. At SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ÊÓƵ, he has served in a variety of progressive leadership roles, including Director of Online Education, DBA Program Director, MBA Program Director, and professor at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Dr. Dunbar specializes in human resources, management, communication, organizational leadership, and online learning. He is recognized for his expertise in curriculum development, faculty mentoring, course and program assessment, accreditation support, and the design and delivery of engaging online and hybrid learning experiences. Throughout his academic career, he has taught a wide range of business disciplines, chaired doctoral dissertations, and helped develop sustainable systems that improve faculty performance and student success.

In addition to his academic leadership, Dr. Dunbar brings extensive industry experience from healthcare administration, information technology management, mortgage finance, and advertising, giving him a practical perspective that enriches both his teaching and research. His scholarly work focuses on burnout, workplace spirituality, leadership, religious coping, well-being, and online education, resulting in numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, books, conference presentations, and collaborative research projects. Holding a Doctor of Business Administration from Liberty University, an MBA from Loma Linda University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, Dr. Dunbar is passionate about developing leaders, advancing research, and integrating real-world business experience into higher education.
