Why did you choose your major or graduate degree program? What interested you in this
particular field of study?
I wanted to be an FBI agent but then switched to being a school counselor so I could
help kids.

The small classes and getting to know many classmates and professors, as well as the
staff.

Yes, in RUSD and AUSD. My experience was life-changing.

Handbell choir, basketball team, cross country team, FCA, Hispanic culture club -
loved connecting with my colleagues.

I learned to rely on faith and that God is in control.

Yes. It helped me figure out that I love helping kids.

I do a lot! Even served on National leadership with the American School counselor
association as a board member.
