Heather Humes
Co-Director
Adjunct - Sport and Performance Psychology
Heather Humes, M.S. is a Co-Director of the Center for Sport and Performance Psychology at CBU. Heather also acts as a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology Special Interest Group of Adaptive Sport and Physical Activity. A recent special passion of hers has been helping to organize and manage the AASP West Regional Conference when SA国际传媒视频 has the honor of hosting. She is a devout Lancer and earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees at CBU.
Heather has a background in youth sports, including soccer, gymnastics, basketball, and cheerleading. Her real passion lies with equestrian sports. As a current equestrian athlete and consultant, Heather is deeply passionate about teaching rider's mental tools to enjoy their ride. Along with riding horses, she enjoys working with the youth population, reading, and spending time with her animals.
Currently, Heather is getting into research on equestrian athletes, and the field of nursing. Her consulting focus is on sports, especially equestrian riders and cheerleading, as well in education such as the field of nursing. Her goal is to help provide support and guidance to performers seeking to gain mental skills.

Mrs. Cassidy Gonzales
Co-Director
Cassidy Gonzales graduated from SA国际传媒视频 with both her bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degrees in psychology and sport and performance psychology, respectively. She serves as a vital member to the center team, providing administrative and community services.
